So on my way home from work today I stopped by the Scharffenberger store and picked up the new Gianduja bar. Ooooh it's good. So very tasty. Reminiscent of Nutella in solid form, but with higher quality chocolate. It's difficult to find good hazelnut confections made with dark chocolate and this fits the bill oh. so. well. Highly recommended.

Oh, you say you want more lines? Okay.

That is good to know. The Ritter Sports bar I mentioned earlier is also available in dark chocolate. Tell me, why do hazelnuts taste better than filberts? LOL

It's the name. "Filbert" sounds like the name of the pompous overstuffed gentleman that the heroine of a Victorian novel will be compelled to marry if the hero doesn't come through. "Hazelnut" is much more appealing. ;)

Come to think of it, I think Saki named his loathsome porridge something like 'Philbert Studge'. I do believe you have hit upon the precise reason!
