Agreed. Tennant is swoon-worthy. One time, my aunt said that I looked like him and I nearly died. Greatest compliment ever.

Torchwood has...moments. Like it sometimes seems to be trying to hard to not be Doctor Who. But there's lots of Jack, so there's that.

Re: Ten questioning his identity. The Eighth Doctor did quite a bit of that too, throughout his brief 90-minute existence. I read somewhere (and I can't remember if this is canon or just fan conjecture) that the Doctor's regenerations are possibly influenced by the experiences of his previous incarnation; i.e. Eight was a really pleasant guy pre-Time War, but Nine is rough and moody, and Ten is a bit sweeter because of Nine's relationships with Rose and Jack (which leads me to wonder why Eleven is so goofy, considering all the crap Ten eventually goes through). It's an interesting theory, all things considered, and it might explain why Ten is so "omg what is this I don't even" because it's such an abrupt change, not just for Rose, but for him.
