If you read this and are so moved, even if we don't speak often, please post a comment with a memory of you and me. It can be anything you want, good, bad, or indifferent.

for some reason I found myself thinking of Screw Your Roomate, sophmore year, and Brian serenading you while you sat on the Radnor balcony :)

Ah yes, Brian the kore. I wonder whatever became of him?

Oh, right. What did I say? The plural? Do I lose my degree now? ;)

Oops.

I didn't mean anything by it, I swear! Art History 101 was a looooong time ago.

Oh so many years of memories....

How about our first BNL show. HORDE in Mountain View in 1998. We had lawn seats but the bowl wasn't full so we sat there instead. And were so blown away we started going to every show we could, making road trips up and down CA.

[identity profile] owlmoose.livejournal.com 2005-11-04 07:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah. That's a good one. :) (Although it was in Concord, not Mountain View.) I remember not recognizing several the songs and deciding that I needed to fill in my collection right away. And the long break to riff with the audience during "Million Dollars", which of course we had no idea was coming then. Good stuff.

The BNL memory that comes to me is hearing "One Week" for the first time, when we were driving from your in-laws to Philly for Joanna's surprise birthday party. "Is that BNL?" "I think it is!"

Coincidentally (*or is it?*), I just got a spam in my mailbox with this subject line: "lose the tummy Steve". :)

The elevator in our building beeps three times on its way from the ground floor to our floor. I still think of that almost every single time I ride up.

One of my best memories of you was when you were mistress of ceremony at my wedding handling various wardrobe malfunctions, Ethan's broken leg, the incredible lateness and general chaos with incredible calm and grace. Thank you so very much!

You are so welcome. :)

There are many to chose from, but I think I would have to pick walking into your house for "tea" one day, and seeing far more friends there than I was expecting...

Yes. If I could only remember what we were laughing *about*... ;)
