New Locke Lamora book???

I heard the other day that Amazon had put a release date on their Republic of Thieves page, but given that Amazon has broken my heart with projected release dates before, I was unwilling to believe it. Not until I heard the news direct from the source.

But now Scott Lynch is tweeting about release day parties so I guess I can allow myself some hope. (Although I can't actually find that tweet on his stream. But the date is also mentioned on his blog, which I will also accept as evidence.)

In other words: EEEEEEEEEE!

YES. I have been hopping and shrieking since it was confirmed.

(He had a super adorable pair of tweets about how he's been keeping an email folder with about 400 emails asking when the next book would be out, and that now that it really is truly delivered he was planning to answer each one individually. Yes, sir. well done.)
