SiL (Little Bro's wife) had her baby at 1am CST. Boy, 7lbs 14oz. About a week early. I don't know his name. That's all I have right now. More details when I get them.

anzubird is downstairs playing with kittens and getting ready for bed. Depeche Mode was very good. More details when I'm not too tired to share them.

First time Aunt, like me? My advice is to go and meet him as soon as possible. Meeting Alyssa changed my life. I knew I was going to love her, I just had no idea how much.

Ooh, good for you! In my case, I have a feeling I'll probably be a mom before I'm an Aunt- there's a signifcant age gap between me and my younger siblings, and unless my older brother surprises me I'm probably going to be the most likely option for grandchildren. My 3 cousins on my dad's side are all really little too, so I can just imagine my grandmother bugging me and my brother to give her great-grandchildren :).
