I don't know that I would say I *like* Ward, but I certainly find his character fascinating. But I find him much more interesting as a villain, and I certainly have no interest in bending over backwards to excuse his actions.

Tripp is awesome, and I hope he's a regular next season.

Welcome to MCU fandom. :P There's a reason I usually stay in my corner of it. Fortunately I know some really awesome people there. I didn't even ever actually see the asinine "Sam is HYDRA" theories cross my Tumblr dash, only the posts WTFing at how ridiculous and racist it is.

It's always a little strange to me since my meatspace and online friends are more social-justice-oriented than is the norm, and my workplace takes *isms very seriously (public sector!) and so when I run into the way most people react I sort of blink and mentally stub my toe and go "wait. But, wait, seriously, how do you not realize what you're doing?"

(Not like I'm a paragon of awesomeness, but I do try.)
