Okay, so DA Kiss Battle, y/n?

The Dragon Age Kiss Battle got so little participation the last time I ran one, in 2015, that I didn't do it last year, and no one asked where it was. So maybe I should just assume that the time for this game has come and gone... and yet, I also feel like it could be the perfect thing for a tough time, to have some no-pressure, light-weight fandom fun.

So I throw it out to the masses. If I ran a Dragon Age kiss battle (here's the 2012 edition, for anyone who's not familiar), would you play? Would you create, leave prompts, and encourage others to do the same? My biggest concern is actually prompts; so few people left prompts in 2015, and without prompts there's no game.

Let me know your thoughts! And if your honest thought is "sorry, no one cares about that any more", I genuinely want to know. Thanks.

*sidles up* Would you consider expanding it to a Dragon Age/Elder Scrolls/Witcher kiss battle? I cannot be the only fantasy CRPG addict who loves all three... :D

I'm definitely not opposed to the idea of more fandoms in theory, but I'd want to think about which fandoms. (I haven't played any of the Witcher or Elder Scrolls games myself, but I know there's a lot of fandom overlap with them.) Fantasy RPGs in general? Throw open the floor to nominations? I can think of pros and cons to various approaches.

I also got a suggestion to open it up to other Bioware canons (which appeals to me more because I have played the Mass Effect series, and with a new ME game on the horizon it might draw more participation). However, that would make it harder to open it to non-Bioware fantasy RPGs, unless I turned it into a great big RPG free-for-all which admittedly has some appeal. :)

I could go either way! I like Fantasy RPGs because the relative similarity of the settings opens up crossovers, but really, I am for anything!

I would leave a prompt or two, and poke at the prompts to see if anything jumped out at me to draw, but must admit I'm not as focussed on the game as I was back in the day.

Totally fair. In truth I haven't been as much in the fandom lately either. But I miss it, and I wonder if sharing ideas and creativity might not give me back some of that juice.

Typically it runs around Valentine's Day! So no earlier than, say, the middle of next week, if I decide to do it.

I know I probably never participated much anyway, but I am pretty ambivalent about a Dragon Age Kiss Battle.

I would be way more excited about an open video game kiss battle, but then again, I completely understand why that doesn't appeal much to people. If it's too broad, there's no way of knowing if anyone will fill your request.

Plus, if I am being honest, I would probably just rather draw some of my favourite rare pairings kissing, so I am not envisioning myself as a very cooperative participant. I could just do that near Valentine's Day all by my lonesome anyway.
