This should make you feel less abandoned. It does presage better times ahead. We are all sending good vibes to you to chase out the cold and make you feel less like something your kittens have been mauling for two days. Well do I know that chewed up feeling when a head cold settles in. Drink hot liquids and sleep as much as possible. Resign yourself to a few wasted days. (Take notes so that if you ever want to write a bad cold, you will remember how it feels. LOL)

Thank you for the well-wishes. :) I usually get one cold like this each winter, although this one has come early and been unusually hard -- normally I get to keep use of my brain when sick, but not this time. I've been napping off and on all day and just set some tea to brewing. It's the wasted days I hate most -- I don't mind lying around the house and not getting much accomplished from time to time, but I want it to be by choice. You know?

I know. I had a couple of days like that recently. One feels such a sluggard when sleep is the lord of the mind. You are smart enough to know that fighting against your body at times like this is a mug's game. Listen to it instead and it will heal itself as quickly as it can. In the meantime, think of this as a kitty-bonding opportunity. ;)
