Hey, remember when we used to post long lists of questions and answers on LJ? I miss those days. I saw this one on Facebook and thought it might transplant nicely here.
40 odd things about me (I might say idiosyncratic rather than odd, I feel like most of these are fairly usual?):
1. Do you put ketchup on a hot dog? Yep.
2. Choice of soda? Coke (made with sugar), San Pellegrino sodas, fancy low-sugar (NOT artificial sweetener) soda. But mostly I drink plain sparkling water. If an "ordinary" soda is my only option, then ordinary Coke or root beer.
3. Do you own a gun? No
4. Can you swim? Close enough.
5. Hot dogs or cheeseburger? Cheeseburger. But I do enjoy a good hot dog.
6. Favorite type of food? My favorite cuisine style is Italian.
7. Do you believe in ghosts? No, but I don’t 100% not-believe in them either.
8. What do you drink in the morning? Coffeeeeeeee
9. Can you do 100 push-ups? I’m not sure I could even do 10.
10. Summer, Winter, Spring, or Fall? Summer.
12. Tattoos? None, probably not ever.
13. Do you wear glasses? I got my first pair of glasses when I was 6, then switched to contacts at 16. I started using reading and computer glasses a couple of years ago.
14. Do you have a phobia? Heights, and more specifically falling.
15. Do you have a nickname? Family and friends from high school and before (some of you are reading this!) call me Kathy. In other corners of the internet I go by KJ.
16. Four favorite drinks: Mai tai, sparkling water, lemonade, fresh-brewed ice tea
17. Biggest downfall? Laziness.
18. Rain or Snow? Rain.
19. Can you change a tire? No.
20. Favorite flower? Gladiolus
21. Can you drive a stick? Kinda sorta in an emergency.
22. Ever gone skydiving? Hell no
23. Kids? None, by choice
24. Favorite color? Blue, especially the blues that shade into green.
25. Employed? Yes
26. Can you whistle? Yes.
27. Where were you born? Ohio
29. Surgeries? For a double hernia when I was 2 years old. Also I had all four impacted wisdom teeth out in college.
30. Shower or bath? Shower.
31. Last song listened to? Bastille, "Weight of Living"
32. Broken bones? My wrist when I was a tween, one toe in a car accident during grad school, and the tip of my left middle finger in 2014.
33. How many TVs are in your house? One. But I probably do most of my “TV” watching on my iPad.
34. Worst pain? The first time I dislocated my shoulder.
35. Do you like to sing? Love it. I’ve been in choruses almost continuously since junior high.
36. Are your parents still alive? Yes
37. Do you like camping? Do houseboats count? I enjoy visiting the outdoors, but give me a comfy bed at the end of the day.
38. What do you enjoy binging? I get sucked into all kinds of things.
