WisCONline!
Registration for the first-ever entirely online WisCon (aka WisCONline) is now open!
I hope to "see" many of you there. :) I know it won't be the same as in-person WisCon, but I'm happy the event is coming together and looking forward to being a part of it.

Also, since this was going to be my first year doing WisCon, VERY EXCITED that I still can, even if it's in another format. Off to register!

Yay! Glad you will be there. :) Sorry I don't get to meet you in person, though -- hopefully another year. (I actually can't attend next year if it's in person, as it will conflict with my rescheduled 25th college reunion, but after that!)

What makes me think of that are places like Giordano's or Lou Malnati's, which are, of course, two Chicago chains that can ship their pizzas. But there are actual bakeries I know of, though not in Chicago, necessarily, like Ninong's Café, which delivers across the country (and is super tasty, as I discovered, I can't wait to buy purple baked goods for my friends' daughter for her birthday), or places that just do regular deliveries, like Molly's Cupcakes, which, okay, is also a chain, but a) NYC and Chicago were hit pretty hard, and b) anyplace that is a chain that has branches in Iowa City and Des Moines can't be that major of a chain, I'm thinking?
I mean, I'm just throwing out ideas that may not work for the con! So feel free to ignore me. I just think of things and say them and if they don't work for what you're doing, it's all good! You may not want to do the thing! Either way, I'm registered for the online con, and I'm happy about that. :)
