I'm rather inclined toward Tobli/Kimahri or Rikku/Sin. The latter would get rid of the little nuisance for good and we would not have to put up with her in FFX2. ;)
Ry had a list of about sixty names and used a random generator to do the pairings. Most of the stories were little more than drabbles and relied up some more or less witty plot turns to work. Ask her about them.
