I didn't know there was going to be a test!

The moose test.

"The Moose test, also known as the Elk test, Älgtest in Swedish, has been used in Sweden for decades to test how a certain vehicle, usually an automobile, acts when avoiding a sudden danger, such as a moose."

I had never heard of this before. The dangers of moose on roadways, yes, but never this moose test concept. Perhaps I should not be so amused. And yet....

Yep. I can verify this from my swedish man. They do it because when a car hits a moose, the car gets totaled and the moose usually walks away - it's for driver safety rather than moose safety. And Swedes get pissed when tourists (most likely germans) take the moose warning signs home as souvenirs. Our last trip there we saw the signs, but no roadside moose unfortunately. If a moose does bite it, it doesn't go to waste, either -- it gets divvied up by the neighbors. Practical people on both sides of the issue.

And then there's this....Video: Moose, car collide; it's a draw (http://www.emailthis.clickability.com/et/emailThis?clickMap=viewThis&etMailToID=404918461)

Poor moose. :(

Also, uh-oh:
Yeah, we've been too late on that for awhile. I think www.moosesinternational.com might still be around, though. At least it was when last I checked.

Heh. It's not available anymore.....

Now, what do we put there?

Er, that was me. I hate that LJ now times me out.

"Mooses International, website division."

Riddle me this, Batman!

Here's a fun question I know you can TOTALLY ANSWER.

Of course, you can tell me to eff off, too, but hey.

How totally unlikely would it be that Nooj, would, er, say, sleep with Rikku?

(Oh I know, so left-field.)

Let's just say of all the possible oddball pairings in X-2, Rikku/Nooj has always struck me as *by far* the least likely. ;) In fact, I don't know if I've ever seen a story that really put them together in a romantic fashion. (I know of one fic that has them involved but it was not a happy relationship.)

That said, if you are inspired to write it I'd be curious to see how you manage....

I wrote it tonight, because... uh... well, I just did. It started off as this weird PWP and then I was like "no! I want plot to this pr0n!" and it was all, um, sorta crazy.

And I feel like I totally mangled his character, because I've never ever written him ever ever in my life, and I feel really... er, concerned. But then, it's just smut, so who cares? I care. I hate writing OOC. Galls me

check it (http://cupcakemonster.livejournal.com/32253.html), if I haven't disturbed you!
