Random pairing list!

Inspired by a number of sources, including but not limited to [livejournal.com profile] ithurtsmybrain, the Random Pairing Generator at Seventh Sanctum and the meme that resulted from it, and a similar game from a couple of years back that [livejournal.com profile] kunstarniki told me about once.

This is something I've been threatening to do for awhile, but I never had the time and inclination together. Not like I really have the time now, either, but I wanted to get the idea off the back burner of my brain. So I present to you:

The FFX/X-2 Random Pairing List

Because crack is fun (although some of these might make lovely angsty dark stuff as well). No need to ask; just use them. For fic, art, mockery, whatever. But if you do end up creating something, I'd love a link in comments.

Okay, enough talk. Here's the list.

Belgamine/Logos
Buddy/Clasko
Leblanc/Barthello
Gippal/Elma
Yunalesca/Chappu
Isaaru/Rikku
Kimahri/Bickson
Auron/Maechen
Jyscal/Dona
Jecht/Lucil
Barkeep/Yaibel
Lenne/Yuna (Huh.)
Rin/Mika
Wakka/Nooj
Tidus/Trommel
Wantz/Ormi
Shelinda/Tobli
Braska/Kinoc (Someone must write this. Please? Pretty please?)
Lulu/Maroda
O'aka/Shinra
Paine/Seymour
Shuyin/Baralai (Huh, again.)
Beclem/Calli
Gatta/Nhadala
Pacce/Brother
Luzzu/Cid

This list was created by the thoroughly scientific method of writing down the names of all the major and many of the minor characters from both games (making sure to have an even number), listing them alphabetically, and then assigning each a random number (using a random sequence generator). I reordered them by number, then matched the first 26 with the last 26. Pretty easy, once I got through the work of listing the names. Apologies if I missed your favorite minor character; if people enjoy playing with this, maybe we can do it again with a longer list.
