Baa baa meme sheep

I just subjected two people to this request, so I might as well play, too. :) Plus, I've never done a meme like it before, so should be interesting. Finally, it's Friday. Enough excuses? Good.

Comment and I'll:

1) Tell you why I friended you
2) Associate you with a song/movie
3) Tell a random fact about you
4) Tell a first memory about you
5) Associate you with an animal/fruit
6) Ask something I've always wanted to know about you
7) Show you my favorite user pic of yours

Reposting is, as always, totally optional.

1. We kept having interesting arguments conversations in [livejournal.com profile] fanficrants and I wanted them to continue in other venues and on other subjects.
2. Where to start? ;) Right now, Neuroticfish.
3. Your laptop is named Plum.
4. Our second or third FFrants conversation, where you admitted to bringing up Paine in the initial post partly to see if I would comment.
5. An otter. Fun, playful, but also tenacious.
6. Are you ever tempted to write for fandoms other than X/1999 and Final Fantasy?
7. I just did this for you, too, so again with the second favorite. This was a much harder decision.
What's up with the liking the icons best that are from the series I haven't read? Beats me, but you do lovely work with them.

1/4: Well, yeah. As you know, I guess, I do weird things to get the people I like to notice me. *laugh* I'm like the kid who pulls your hair on the playground?

7: If you read NANA... *laugh*

6. Sure. I started out writing Dragonball fanfic. From there I moved on to The Slayers, dabbled in Golden Sun, and spent a happy year with Codename: Kids Next Door. I've also written CSI and Law & Order: SVU. X and FF are recent additions. *laugh* I've considered Fruits Basket (but never really was drawn into it in a fandom way), and recently I've had a couple stray plot bunnies for NANA.
