And again with the sweet but oh-so-true feeling Paine/Nooj fic. :D You have a feel for this theme, definitely, and I'm loving it. Thank you. :)

I think my favorite part is how Rikku doesn't understand that Paine can be happy in her own quiet way; it's not how Rikku would show happiness, but she's happy all the same, and then you show that same contentment in Nooj. I also like how Paine thinks that it's not really the "end" of the Gullwings -- they can still have adventures, even though it won't be the same as living together on the ship all the time. There's too much all-or-nothing in post-game fic, I think -- either YuRiPa are all traveling around Spira as a unit or they barely speak to one another. I think there's a middle ground, that no enough people explore in fic.
