RIP Madeleine L'Engle

She passed away yesterday, but it was only announced today. The Wrinkle in Time trilogy, especially A Swiftly Tilting Planet were among my favorite books as a teen. I reread them recently and was pleased at how well they hold up.

My childhood is slowly disappearing around me. :-/ Makes me wonder who will be next.

RIP indeed. I was sad to see this. But she did publish an amazing number of remarkable books.

I was crushed to read this, too.

What's weird is that I'm actually reading one of her books at the moment and I haven't read an L'Engle book in many years.

I love the way she mixes spirituality into many of her plots...

Her writing has always seemed one-of-a-kind to me - I can't think of anyone who writes the way she does and I'll really miss her contributions. But I suppose 60 books is a pretty good run :)
