"Uke-ified Baralai makes baby Jesus cry." I completely agree. Every time I write Baralai I freak out, because I'm so worried I'm - well, in your words, 'uke-fying' him. It's difficult.

I didn't know you read Baralai/Yuna! Do you have any fics to recommend? I like the idea but so far I've only found one that I thought was done well.

It's not a pairing that gets written much, sadly. Probably "Of Sun" by parron and "Cfaadraynd" (which is actually a Baralai/Yuna/Gippal triangle) by iamleaper are the ones I've liked the best. I've only been able to write drabbles myself, although I'd like to take a crack at it for real someday.
