November update; December goals

Days written: 25/30
Words written: 17,111
Words of fic written: 15,129
Percentage written in a single day at Jed's house: 26%
Stories worked on: Nine
Stories posted: Seven (one finishing up a WIP that started in November)

Specific goals:

1. Write or edit fic every day until my Mega Flare is done, at least five days a week thereafter. Yes.

2. Post to my journal every day, and at least three substantial posts per week. Did at least one public post every day, but as for the second goal, eh. I guess it depends on how you define "substantial".

3. Finish and post Mega Flare story. Yes! And I even made my early deadline, although I had to take a half day at work to do it. Priorities, I have them.

4. Complete and post the final chapter(s) of "Separation of Powers" and my current [livejournal.com profile] dragonage_kink WIP. Finished the k-meme story (haven't polished it enough to crosspost yet), but didn't even look at "Separation of Powers". I did finish up one of my Alistair/Aeducan WIPs, though, and wrote a number of ficbits, some of which I like more than others. Not sitting on ficbits forever is something I'm getting better about, I think. It helps, maybe, that I feel like I can put something that isn't completely polished in a venue like the k-meme or the weekly [livejournal.com profile] dragon_age prompt post or even Tumblr and then decide whether I like it well enough to call it part of my canon. Less pressure to produce something perfect on the first go.

Not bad I guess, especially given how very busy November got. December is shaping up to be only a tiny bit calmer, so let's try and keep this simple.

Goals:

1. Write an average of six days per week.

2. Write at least two posts per week for the December is for Meta challenge.

3. Complete and post stories for the two DA holiday exchanges I signed up for, and write at least one for the [community profile] ff_exchange Chocobo Races (a project which I have continued to fail to participate in...)

4. Finish up at least two WIPs (Separation of Powers and/or more of the Alistair/Aeducan stories).

Probably this is more than enough! But hey, might as well round out the year with a bang.
