kitties! (what else?)

Relaxing on the rug

Kill the mousie.

Demon eye kitty!

More in the gallery.

The black kitty appears to be named Alexsei. Lexi for short. Girl kitty might have a name but I am less certain. Time will unveil the truth, I'm sure.

I like how the glow reflects on the floor.

Hey, Mr. Photographer Guy. Do you know why they glow blue in the photo but reflect orange off the floor?

Mirrors can be used to reflect the true nature of the evil within your cat.

It might also be because the floor is mostly just reflecting the colors that it is and is absorbing the blue. :)

That cat is named Lucifer and you can't deny it. I won't call it anything else.

I think I have to repropose Shiva the destroyer :)

Settle down, you two. It's just the flash. No demonic influences involved.

I can give some advice on how to attract some of those, if you want.

It's the cat's soul shining through...

Hey!

Who made that? It's awesome!

[identity profile] luvmoose.livejournal.com 2005-11-08 03:12 pm (UTC)(link)
I made an initial attempt, but I was having issues with the font resolution. So [livejournal.com profile] grue23 polished it up.

Alexsei ... Alexsei ... OK, it feels good on the tongue. I like the way he holds himself when he is batting at the toy. Do you have such a thing as a Cat Dancer out there? It is a few twists of paper clenched at the end of a springy wire and used to drive Charity to exhaustion. The neat thing about the toy is that you can trap the end you hold in an almost closed drawer and leave it for the kittens to amuse themselves.

My pardons to girl-kitty, she is an elegant little thing as well and I am eager for her to tell us her name.

They both seem to have taken complete control of the situation. I must assume they have taught you and T to obey and to fetch.

Oh yes. We are most familiar with the cat dancer. My friend Em calls them the "best cat toy since people". While I think that particular honor goes to the laser pointer, I don't think she's far wrong. We don't have any onhand right now though -- all the toys currently in the house are Nadia hand-me-downs, and she bored of it quickly. I do plan to try them on it, though, the next time I get to the pet store.

Naturally. We know our place. ;)

That was going to be my cat-warming present.

Excellent. We can wait then. I'll get them a cat-fisher instead.

My cats are not crazy about the cat dancer if you hang it on something, but they love running around with it on the hardwood floor... it's also great with two cats because while one cat pounces on one and the other end moves and attracts the second cat!

of course, my kitties have spent the past couple of days playing tug-of-war witht he ribbon from the LA Burdick's chocolates!

You never know what a cat is going to love. Nadia was very fond of plastic bottle caps! She'd bat them around the hardwood floor for hours.

Aww, so cute!
