Though I remain skeptical as always of new social media platforms, I went ahead and asked for a beta invite, to hold my username if nothing else. I am, as usual, owlmoose, so feel free to add me, or whatever they call it over there.

Also if you know of active communities in my areas of interest, I am all ears!

Yeah, I have no idea. Seems like finding communities would be a start, but how do you even do that? Someone needs to do a friending meme or something.

where'd you get your beta invite from? I couldnt find anywhere to request one when i last looked at the site]

I requested one the last time they were open. It was awhile ago, and then it took awhile for me to get the invite, and then I sat on it for a couple of weeks, so I'm not surprised if the window is closed by now. Unfortunately, I don't remember who posted about the invites being open or I'd refer you.
