DA Codex Meme: Letter from a Companion

I didn't get anywhere near as much progress as I wanted on these, but I have worked on a few, and I think I will continue to do so. Maybe a project for by the end of the year. Anyway, I finished this one recently, and I'm pretty happy with it. Loral Mahariel's canon, a prelude to Witch Hunt.

I'm sure this isn't a letter you ever expected to receive. I know I didn't expect to be writing it. We aren't friends and never will be; you wouldn't thank me for pretending otherwise, or for asking you to do so. But I felt like we came to a truce, at least, during our fight against the Blight, and it's in that spirit I'm writing to you now. Because I've learned something I think you deserve to know.

So I'll skip the pleasantries and come straight to the point: there's been word of Morrigan. I've been assigned to Jader, and some Wardens here recently came back from a patrol of southern Ferelden, bringing rumors of a woman matching her description. They want to send someone after her, because of some rumors about her involvement with taking down the archdemon. Details about the exact location are sketchy, but it sounds to me an awful lot like the Wilds near Ostegar.

Now, I don't really care. Morrigan could disappear forever, and it wouldn't matter to me one bit. But I know you feel differently. If anyone should be the one to find her, it's you. So I'm sending you this letter, to let you know she's out there. And I haven't given them the tip about Flemeth, or the exact location of the hut. I hope that's enough to give you a head start.
