new story

The first chapter of the new Paine story is up. It's called "Salvage" and attempts to explain where she was between "The Confessional" and the game. The story is shaping up to be three chapters. The other two are drafted but need a fair amount of work, especially the third -- look for them in the next couple of weeks, if all goes well.

The nit you picked in the review is a valid one -- I took that paragraph between past and present tense several times and must not have caught that on my final cleanup. The perils of editing!
