The new DSL modem came yesterday and so my home is once again connected to the series of tubes at a rate faster than the land speed of a sloth. It was so weird, being unable to watch videos or download pictures or really do much of anything other than chat online. How anyone still tied to dial-up manages is just beyond me. I'm so spoiled.
Anyway, it's good to have things back to normal. Or as normal as they ever get. Tonight I pack, and tomorrow evening I head out for a weekend in Vancouver. That's right, it's another BNL pilgrimage for![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
luvmoose and me, and this one comes with a bonus cupcakemonster! I've never seen the band play in Canada, and it's been a very long time since I've been to Vancouver. So I'm getting pretty excited, despite the ice and snow that I'm sure will be waiting for me there.
