Character writing meme

Ganked from [livejournal.com profile] lassarina.

1. Comment to this post with the name of a character that I have written in fic.

2. I will comment telling you the following:
a. What initially prompted me to like the character enough to write about him/her.
b. One of his/her best traits
c. One of his/her worst traits
d. How easy/difficult I find it to write the character
e. The story/chapter/paragraph/phrase where I feel that I truly captured the character
f. My plans (if any) to write the character in the near future.

Auron, let’s say.

a. As with Paine, I was drawn to Auron because he's my favorite character in the game (for many of the same reasons actually) and because his background is left full of juicy unanswered questions.
b. His devotion.
c. His stubbornness, which sometimes leads to a lack of empathy.
d. Fairly easily. Sometimes when I haven't written him in awhile it takes a few drafts before I can really get into his head.
e. I admit to being fond of the Zanarkand chapters (first pilgrimage) in "A Guardian's Legacy" in this respect. As far as shorts go, I think I'd choose "Lost Love".
f. Lately, I've only written Auron for challenge and requests, and I expect that will continue unless I get bunnied really hard for something. I've written two novel-length fics about the character, one of which was basically his biography, and so in way I feel like I really don't have much left to say about him.
