Burning questions of our time
Born out of many discussions T and I have had regarding how often it is reasonable to cook and/or go grocery shopping, I present: a poll!
[Poll #1075373]
Please feel free to pimp this, I would love to get a broad sampling. :) Thanks.

The other thing is that I have been a member of a CSA for the past two years, so over the summer I usually get fresh organic veggies (and fruit this year!) once a week, which forces me to cook (and invite people over) a bit more often that I probably would otherwise.

We cook dinner pretty much every night... sometimes I plan leftovers (like tonight I pulled a roast out of the freezer that we cooked a couple of weeks ago) and sometimes we very off the meal plan when I'm too tired to make anything but tacos, but generally, we're cooking something every night of the week. We went out with some friends from out of state a couple weeks ago, and for our anniversary last month. We do have a frozen pizza incident every couple of months. :)

I do most of my shopping at a local "gourmet grocery" (though they have a lot of normal food too, which is why I like them) and Costco, but there is a small handful of items we are brand-loyal to that we have to get at a Safeway.

Also I love to really cook :)

I freeze all the meat in normal portions, by putting it in little freezer baggies, and pull one out a day to thaw for dinner.
Whether or not we go out to eat depends on whether I'm running out of stuff to cook with the meat. :>
