They haven't quite finished counting the votes, but the first lawsuits against Proposition 8 have already been filed.

And so it begins.

That is interesting. I wonder if repealing DOMA could also include some provisions for recognizing state-sanctioned civil unions at the federal level.

I do not know. It should keep lawyers in Starbucks money for aeons. I think DOMA is so badly written that no questions are adequately answered. However, it may prove a path to fairness in its death. Hah!
