They haven't quite finished counting the votes, but the first lawsuits against Proposition 8 have already been filed.

I do not know. It should keep lawyers in Starbucks money for aeons. I think DOMA is so badly written that no questions are adequately answered. However, it may prove a path to fairness in its death. Hah!
