Came for lunch, stayed for coffee and writing. It's probably telling in some way or another that, when T takes off on an all-day photo shoot and leaves me alone in the house for the day, my first impulse is to go somewhere else, but there you go.

It's been pretty productive: made good progress on one story, about to move on to another. Despite my lack of publishing, and my inability to finish anything (note only one thing posted this month, so far), I still feel like the writing goals are going pretty well -- I've written more days than not, and I'm only 2k words behind for the month on

getyourwordsout. Considering that I wasn't expecting to even come close while starting to get into the writing habit, I'm feeling pretty good about that.

Seeing Avatar with E tomorrow afternoon. I figure, if I'm going to complain about it, I should at least know what I'm talking about. And too many people have told me that it's worth seeing on the big screen. I waffled about it a lot, though. More about that tomorrow, I'm sure.
