What the hell, Delicious?

I mean, seriously. What the hell? Was there any kind of warning on this? Any secret "preview our new service!" opportunity? Because if not.... wow.

Guess it's time to leave. You all know I am generally for riding out the changes with free Internet services, but not when they totally break them overnight. Any recommendations for other bookmarking tools? For my purposes, the only real problem is not being able to see all my tags, but what a problem to have. How is a bookmarking service useful if I can only get to a handful of randomly-selected tags?

Bleh.

Giant Uh-oh. I haven't had a chance to log into the new delicious yet and your experience surely does not sound good. -_-

If I find a good bookmarking service I will let you know---please, if you find a better alternative, make a quick post about it?

I just logged into the new delicious and WTF???? Are they serious? Did business people, in their infinite wisdom, decide that tagging is so 2007 and nooooobody needs/does tags anymore??? (Much less nested tags)

Whoa... I'm seriously sad thinking about all the great work the FF-Press team has done day after day, month after month, year after year, and how delicious appears to have freaking ruined the awesome set of FF fandom links+tagset that they created. o_o

Very sad. D:

Hopefully someone more delicious savvy than I will tell me this isn't so. ):

tag update

Apparently tags still exist as before (copied from http://www.delicious.com/help):

Are tags the same?

Tags function the same way, except that now we support multi-word tags. For example, you can add the tag "San Francisco" without underscores or other symbol tricks, and we will recognize it as a single tag. Separate your tags with commas so we know what words belong together.

...

The only problem is that I'm not clued enough with this far too new interface and, when I do manage to find a tag and click on it, I get broken webpage errors from their site. I cannot understand why they would downgrade functionality like this.
