Artsy
Today's activity was an art fair. I bought a hat! And also a whole bunch of jewelry. I can justify it because I've gotten almost no new clothes this year (amazing how much easier it is to let your wardrobe age when you aren't working), but I'm sure the budget is still not going to like it. But oh well. These things happen at an art fair. And it's good to support local artists, right?
Right.
And now I need to figure out what to work on writing today. None of my current projects are really calling to me. But I don't have anything knew jumping out at me, either. It occurs to me that I used to take prompts every November. Maybe I should have done that again this year. Well, I suppose it's not too late! Any requests?
Right.

What kinds of jewelry did you get?
No new clothes -- so true. Switching most of my work week to mostly working from home (or coffee shops) *and* spending two days per week at an art atelier meant that I purchased zero new clothing for autumn. Absolutely no need to appear overdressed in an art studio and then come home with oil paint or pastels or charcoal on me.
What kinds of writing prompts are you looking for?

Prompts: I'm looking for fairly quick things, the kind of stuff I can work on when I'm not feeling either of my major projects. But other than that, I didn't have anything particularly in mind. (I wish there was a good prompt meme going around Tumblr right now, but alas. I've even been keeping my eye out.)

I miss the fanfic prompting communities from LJ's fandom days and the shorter pieces that those comms generated.
Have a set of *very* random prompts in the off chance any inspire:
- This time, how about dinner for two?
- Enjoy the game
- Sisters and secrets
- First glance, first words, first touch
- Where is my money?
- Trust me, no one will notice
- No holds barred
- On page 64, third paragraph, second line
DA/Thedas specific:
- This time, no one volunteered to go into the fade
- Late at night, in the Viscount's Keep...
- Falling up into the sky
- Three things Duncan wished he had told them
Ivalice specific:
- The day the mist evaporates: airships grounded, floating islands fall down
- Secrets held within Dalmasca's royal palace
- Things only a moogle would know
