new chapter

Second chapter of "Salvage" is up. This one came easily, for the most part. The third and final chapter is drafted, but it needs a lot more work than either of the others did. Hopefully I'll figure it all out once I sit down and start seriously editing.

Perhaps we can incorporate Berrik into the Aruron-Nooj-Paine-Berrik collaboration? LOL He is too good to throw away.

:) I don't know that he fits, really, but I'll probably hang onto him. Maybe he'll get his own story someday. (Berrik may be the narrator of this story, but it's not really about him.)

Reaslly, you have made Berrik such a civilized and decent human being. I have known men with such care for one's privacy and well-being. They are to be cherished. :)

Aw. ;) That is a thought, though.

I couldn't have made Berrik otherwise, not and had him realistically carry on with Paine. In a way, I gave him the personality he needed to make the plot work!

Yes, this is a short story. Not *everything* needs to be a 146,000 word epic. ;) Glad that you are liking it.
