happy new year
Dec. 31st, 2005 06:46 pmI am heading off for my evening festivities, so I want to take this moment to wish you all a Happy New Year.
2005 was a complicated year. For me, on a strictly personal level, I'd have to say it was quite a good one -- the cats, the nephew, the writing, T's new job, even my own (much as I complain about it, I'm very glad to be having the experience, for a number of reasons). But on a larger scale, it's been difficult. World events, of course, but closer to home, so many of my friends faced difficulties both large and small this year, even tragedy. So, for all of your sakes, I'm happy to see 2005 come to an end, and I hope that 2006 has better karma all around.
