DA:O Fic - "Ties that Bind"

Notes: I seem to be in that phase where I want to write down all the tidbits of in-between scenes and conversations that have been buzzing in my head since I finished my second playthrough, with the Dwarf Noble Warden. Some of them may come together into longer stories; others, like this one, feel more like stand-alone ficbits. For now, I'll keep playing with them and see where they lead.
( When they made camp that night, halfway between the Circle Tower and Redcliffe, Alistair was uncharacteristically quiet, taking a position alone some distance from the fire. )
