Vegas baby

Heading off to Las Vegas for a long weekend with friends tomorrow night. I haven't been to Vegas for over twelve years and have long wanted to get back there, so I'm super excited! Things on the agenda:

• Tickets to the Cirque show "O", which I've been hearing about for years.


• A tour of the neon graveyard. Old signs, should be a great photo opportunity.


• Several fancy meals.


• Checking out all the spiffy new casinos that have sprouted up in the last decade.


• A lazy afternoon by the pool (we're staying at the Monte Carlo, which is reputed to have a nice one).


• Hanging out with a bunch of cool people who I really like.

I am in such need of a little getaway, and this should fit the bill just right.
