owlmoose: (let go)
Take the first sentence for every post of the month, and that's your year in review. Skipping monthly goals posts.

January: I probably need a catchier name for this project....

February: So. I kept saying I was working on it, and here it is. [Part 2 of Wardens of Ivalice.]

March: Anyone else think that they referred to last night's speech as an address rather than his first State of the Union as a ploy to keep expectations low? [Turns out they always use that terminology for the first year of the term.]

April: Being required to accept a Terms of Service written in a language that most of us can't read is majorly dicey.

May: I'm sure no one really wants to think or talk about anything other than the House's narrow passage of the AHCA today, the bill that's intended to replace Obamacare and dismantle our entire healthcare system in the process.

June: Ever since this movie [Wonder Woman] was announced, I've been both excited and afraid.

July: McConnell didn't have the votes ("You don't have the votes / You don't have the votes"), so the Senate healthcare bill got delayed.

August: This long weekend in Los Angeles was just what I needed.

September: I wrote a book review for [community profile] ladybusiness: some thoughts on Buried Heart by Kate Elliott, the final book in my best beloved Court of Fives series.

October: Earlier this week, the always-marvelous [twitter.com profile] readingtheend aka Jenny proposed a simple idea to promote more community and sharing on blogs: Something on Sunday.

November: In the age of Twitter and Instagram and Facebook, it's probably fair to ask why I still consider Dreamwidth to be my primary blogging platform, and why I continue on with the tradition of posting every day in November.

December: I got my Christmas tree super early this year, because I'm busy next weekend and the weekend after seemed too far away.
