This week, we finally played Untitled Goose Game, which was just exactly the kind of silly, low-stakes fun we needed. It was about the right level of challenge, too, with puzzles at varying levels of difficulty, building on what you learn about the world and how it works. And running around the town wreaking havoc and honking at people is just plain entertaining. The game was a little shorter than we expected, even including the bonus tasks, but it was still worth the time and money. (It was kind of nice to play a game that went so quickly after sinking nearly 200 hours into Persona 5 Royal.) We finished all the tasks except for the speed runs, which we decided to pass on for now. So we've left the world of the quiet village, but it's nice to know we can go back for another beautiful, chaos-filled day any time we like.
Next up might be Undertale and it might be Final Fantasy VII and it might be something else; we haven't really decided yet. Recs are more than welcome!
