Revisiting Phoenix Wright
Jun. 11th, 2021 12:04 amWhat is the greatest game music track of all time, and why is it Pursuit -- Cornered! from Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney?
I can't say exactly why I've come back to this series again, but I ended up watching some Let's Plays on YouTube recently, and that lead me to pick the games up myself -- maybe because my hand injuries are keeping me from my Dragon Age replay, but I can just about manage to poke at an iPad screen if I don't spend too much time on it. So I played the last two cases of Trials and Tribulations (and now I just want to spend a day doing nothing but writing epic Mia/Diego fic, because of course I do), then moved on to Miles Edgeworth: Investigations, which I've only played once before. I did a top-to-bottom replay a few years back, but if I ever wrote about that here I didn't tag it so I'll never find it again. While I think T&T remains my favorite (I love getting to play as Mia, and the way "Bridge to Turnabout" pulls so many threads together at the end of the trilogy is incredibly satisfying to me), I'm looking forward to spending more time with the newer games, getting to know them and their characters better.
