Somehow I never got around to announcing Chapter Four of "Promises". Now a whole week has passed, and Chapter Five is available as well.

The next chapter is almost completely written and we have a good start on the one after that, too. It's always nice to have this kind of jump on things.

So a little bit ago, kunstarniki wrote a story called "The Dynast". The ending left me with my breath taken away and a big question in my mind: "What next?!" So I did what any good little fanfic writer would do -- I started playing with ideas for a sequel.

Then I found out that Ikon was feeling much the same way.

Since, as it turns out, we are totally unable to resist the siren call of working together, we began work on the story almost immediately. The story is called "Promises" and the prologue is posted here.

I have barely been able to contain my glee about this, so I'm really excited about going public. :) This is the story that cleared the brush of my writer's block, by the way. With a vengeance.
